New Reception and shop
After a lot of hard work the new shop and reception is now finished. It is twice the size of the old shop and has direct access to the 60 yard range. This has all been possible thanks to the great volunteers here at SHOTS and it is another example of why this place is so special.
Clay evening Shoot
Clays at shots will be running every last Friday of the month from May to October 5pm to 7pm. Different setup each month so come down and say hello.
if you have your own gun and cartridges it is £25 for 50 birds.

new shop and reception
After a amazing first year we have reach a point where we have out grown our reception area. As part of the ongoing assessment of the site we wanted to join the reception and 60 yard range. With the addition of the new reception area we have had the opportunity to do it and in May we started the work. We are hopeful that by the end of the summer it will be completed. Most of the outside work is now completed just in time for the open day on the 25th of June. I thought everyone would like see the new face of SHOTS. we will continue to add more as the work is completed.

SHOTS OPEN DAY DATE HAS BEEN SET
Shots will be running their 2nd open day on 25th June 2022
This is an opportunity for anyone to come and have a go at all the different shooting disciplines we can offer.
All activities will be run on a reduced price basis. Most things costing less than £5
come and meet the team, see the site and even sample the food from the cafe.
It will be a great day out for everyone, children and adults.

After storm Eunice blew through the veranda on the front of the 60 yard range was left in pieces. This has prompted a long overdue piece of maintenance to be done. It has taken 3 weeks but has been well worth it. The old structure was over 10 years old and made out of left over materials. This has been purpose built and most comments have been along the lines of the “building will fall down before the new veranda does”. This is just another demonstration of how this club is reinvesting in its facility. We hope you all enjoy the benefits.
Christmas holiday
SHOTS will be closing for Christmas on Wednesday 22nd of December in the evening and reopening on Wednesday the 5th of January

3.5 mile shoot result
After a interesting start with different weather to contend with John Cutsforth came though as our first winner.
A great day had by all and everyone has asked for a rematch so if you think you can take on the challenge, look out for the dates on the notice board.
Tank Driving Experiences
Why not come and have ago at Tank driving. @ £65 for half an hour it is a bargain or if you are really keen sign up for an hour session.
Come on your own or as a group, tank driving is a great way to spend a Saturday. the vehicle is a FV432 MKll which has been used in the British army for years.
we run once a month usually on the third Saturday of the month but can do other days as well. So if you want a family activity or you are responsible for planning a stag do or staff corporate day give us a ring we are sure we can put something together for you.
Due to the dimensions of the vehicle there are some restrictions. The maximum height to drive is 6ft 8" the minimum is 4ft 6" and the maximum weight is 20 stone. You have to be 18 or older to drive and over 10 to ride as a passenger
